Deepfried vegetarian springrolls served with sweetchili dip and plumsauce. “Po-pia” means something like “tasty, easy snacks” and “Tod” means deepfried.
 
ปอเปี๊ยะสด/Po Pia Sod/Fresh springrolls… 60b
Fresh springrolls filled with vegetables and chicken. Served with a black soy- and wasabidip. “Sod” means fresh.
 
ลาบไก่ทอด/Laab gai tod/Chicken meatballs… 60b
Small, crispy chicken meatballs with all Thai flavors from the traditional dish “Laab” - as chili, garlic, lime and coriander. Served with sweetchili dip.
 
น้ำตกเนื้อ/Nahm dtok neua/“Waterfall beef”… 100b
A fresh and spicy Thai style salad made of grilled beef tenderloin, chili, lime, shallots, roasted rice and mint leaves. Very popular in the North East parts of Thailand where they traditionally eat it together with sticky rice. “Nahm Dtok” means “water falling/waterfall” and refers to the sizzling sound from the juicy beef when it’s grilled. And “neua”? Beef. Easy, right?
 
คั่วกลิ้งไก่/Khua Kling gai/Dry red curry with chopped chicken… 65b
A South Thailand speciality with a dry and spicy currypaste made of chili, galangal, lemongrass and pepper. Add chopped chicken, limeleaves, love and magic and voila! “Khua” means “dry fried” and “Kling” is describing the technique, rolling/tossing, that’s used to cook this kind of dry curry. If you can’t handle spicy, this dish is not for you!
 
ผัดกระเพราเนื้อ/Pad kra pao neua/Stir fried holy basil with beef… 100b
“Fried holy basil beef” – strict translation. Chopped beef tenderloin, holy basil, garlic, chili and soy sauce. If you ask Chef Anders – you can never eat too much Pad kra pao in one week…
 
พล่ากุ้ง/Plaa goong/Spicy, sweet and sour shrimp salad… 100b
A fresh and spicy Thai style shrimp salad with its origin from central Thailand. “Plaa” refers to the technique used to preserve food in lime, here shrimps. “Goong” means “shrimp”. This salad contains chili (of course!), lime, coriander, lemongrass and fishsauce.
 
ฉู่ฉี่ปลา/Choo chee bplaa/Sebass fillet in chuu chee curry… 100b
Choo chee is a thick, red curry paste that together with coconut cream goes well with all kind of seafood. We serve it with fish – “bplaa”. Local seabass fillet to be precise.
 
ต้มยำกุ้ง/Tom yam goong/Spicy, sweet and sour shrimp soup… 70b
Here we go, a free Thai language lesson for you:
“Tom” – boiled/hot/“soup”. “Yam” – mixed/a mix of flavors (here sweet/sour/spicy). “Goong” – shrimp. So… here we have a hot, spicy, sweet and sour shrimp soup – right? With lemongrass, chili, limeleaves, small tomatoes, galangal and mushrooms.
 
คะน้าหมูกรอบ/Pad kana moo krob/Stir fried Chinese kale with crispy pork … 70b
So simple and so delicious. Stir fried Chinese kale (or “Chinese broccoli”) with oystersauce, garlic, chili and pieces of crispy pork – “moo krob”.
 
คอหมูย่าง/Kor moo yaang/Grilled porkneck… 70b
Marinated and grilled porkneck served with น้ำจิ้มแจ่ว/Nahm jim jaew, an all over Thailand popular dip sauce made of tamarind, fishsauce, lime, garlic, roasted rice and chili. The dip can be made after your request, spicy or less spicy.
